Santa Clarita Valley Voter Guide is a nonpartisan voter guide for the Santa Clarita Valley, provided by Oakworks Software as a public service. Oakworks Software does not direct, control, endorse, or influence the content of this site. The guide is not affiliated with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, the City of Santa Clarita, or any other government agency, and nothing on it is legal advice.
Information about candidates is submitted by candidates, their campaigns, or residents of Santa Clarita. Submissions are read by a person before they are published, but they are not independently verified, and the guide may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong.
Listing a candidate, measure, or news story is not an endorsement. Your official sample ballot and the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk are the authoritative sources for what is on your ballot and how to vote.
Ballot results shown for an address are provided for information only. They are worked out from county address and district data, which can be incomplete or out of date. Confirm the races on your ballot with your official sample ballot.
You must be at least 13 years old to submit information through this site. By submitting a form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and is your own to give.
When you send a correction, a candidate, a photograph, or a news story, you give Oakworks permission to review, edit, publish, and remove it on the guide. Only send photographs and other material you have the right to share. We are not obligated to respond to or to publish any submission.
Please do not send anything you consider confidential. How we handle the personal information in a submission is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree to use this site lawfully and respectfully.
We may block, remove, or decline to publish any submission, and may restrict access to this site, at our discretion.
The design and software of this site belong to Oakworks Software and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Candidate photographs, logos, and campaign material belong to their owners. You may share and quote the guide in order to inform voters, but you may not use it in a way that suggests an endorsement, affiliation, or authorization that does not exist.
This site links to and relies on third-party sites and services, including candidates' websites, official election sites, and the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
This site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the information on it is accurate, complete, or current. We do not warrant that this site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the greatest extent permitted.
You agree to hold Oakworks Software harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of this site, your violation of these Terms, or material you submit that you did not have the right to share.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

The Santa Clarita Valley Voter Guide is an independent, nonpartisan resource dedicated to helping SCV residents make informed decisions at the ballot box. We provide factual, unbiased information about candidates and measures without endorsing any candidate or party.
Candidate information relies on submissions from candidates, campaigns, and members of the public.
